Loyola University—the first private university of social initiative in Andalusia, promoted by the Society of Jesus—seeks to appoint **UNIVERSITY FACULTY** for the **DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND SPORTS** for the 2025–2026 academic year, based in Seville. Loyola University encourages applications from candidates possessing the following generic professional profile: Minimum required qualification: * Bachelor’s or undergraduate degree in Education-related fields: Primary Education Teaching, Pedagogy, Psychopedagogy. * English proficiency at minimum B2 level, demonstrable (certificates must be attached to the CV). * Possession of a Doctorate (PhD) in an Education program. High capacity for integration and commitment to the institution’s mission, proactive attitude, dedication, teamwork spirit, and vocation of service. Accreditation by ANECA or an equivalent agency as Assistant Doctoral Lecturer or higher. Loyola University will particularly value candidates whose CV demonstrates: * Official university teaching experience in the field of Education, Educational Research and Innovation, and Special Educational Needs. * High-impact scientific production and research, especially within the candidate’s area of specialization. Priority will be given to publications in indexed journals (JCR and Scopus). This research must be linked to digital communication. Originality, relevance, and innovation in research impact will be highly valued. * Doctoral theses supervised or co-supervised within the last five years, accompanied by associated high-impact publications. Alternatively, supervision of Master’s Final Projects (TFMs) will also be positively considered. * Secondarily, books or book chapters published by prestigious publishers (well-ranked in the SPI index), presentations at international conferences, specialized seminars in relevant fields, etc., will also be valued. * Professional experience in the educational sector. * Research fellowships or research stays at internationally renowned universities. * Participation in competitive research projects (international, national, and/or regional). * Experience balancing teaching and research responsibilities with academic management roles will also be valued. Job responsibilities: * Developing and delivering courses within the Bachelor’s Degree in Education. * Supervising students in activities such as Bachelor’s Final Projects, Erasmus placements, etc. * Actively participating in departmental and university life. * Conducting active research with scientific output published in journals indexed in JCR.
