Required qualifications: Candidates must hold one of the following qualifications: \- Degree in Philology, Translation and Interpretation in the English language, or an official Higher Education degree equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. \- Any other official qualification within the framework of Higher Education with the following complementary training: \- Official certificate or diploma accrediting linguistic competence in English at level C1 or C2 (CEFR). \- Official Higher Education qualification completed in the English language, where applicable, with the corresponding recognition. . Professional experience required: At least one year of teaching experience in English language instruction. . Teaching competence: Candidates must meet one of the following requirements to certify pedagogical and didactic training: a) Hold official university degrees in Pedagogy, Psychopedagogy, or a graduate/diploma in Teacher Training in any specialty, a university degree in Psychology or Pedagogy, or an official postgraduate university degree in these fields. 3 b) Hold an official university degree different from those indicated in the previous section and also possess the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude or the Didactic Specialization qualifications and the Certificate of Pedagogical Qualification. c) Provide evidence of holding the enabling Master's Degree for regulated professions of Secondary Education, Vocational Training, and Official Language Schools teachers, or provide proof of completing a training course equivalent to the pedagogical and didactic training required for individuals who, despite holding a qualification declared equivalent for teaching purposes, cannot pursue the master's studies, as established in the first additional provision of Royal Decree 1834/2008, of November 8, which defines the training conditions for teaching in compulsory secondary education, baccalaureate, vocational training, and special regime teachings, and establishes the specialties of secondary school teaching staff. d) Diploma or certificate for teaching English as a foreign language, including TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages), and equivalents, provided they are certificates issued by internationally recognized institutions. e) Demonstrate verified teaching experience of at least 600 hours in the last ten years in English language instruction. f) Professional certification in vocational training teaching or occupational trainer certification.
