For our service center in Albacete , we are seeking to hire a Workshop Technician on a temporary contract (medical leave coverage). This position is designed for individuals with manual dexterity, customer orientation, eagerness to learn, and commitment to high-quality work. Prior experience in the automotive glass sector is not required: if you meet the job requirements and bring the right attitude, motivation, aptitude for hands-on work, and desire to grow, previous specific experience will not be a barrier. Upon joining, you will receive comprehensive training at one of our training centers, where you will learn the procedures, tools, and knowledge needed to perform the role safely, with quality and confidence. What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve? You will join the workshop team and participate in vehicle glass repair, replacement, and recalibration—following Carglass®’s established technical, quality, and safety procedures. **Your main responsibilities will include:** Performing automobile glazing repairs and replacements. Using tools and technical equipment according to defined procedures. Ensuring service quality, safety, and workshop organization. Providing close, clear, and professional customer service. Explaining the work performed and addressing basic questions related to the service. Identifying additional customer needs and recommending solutions honestly and naturally. Collaborating with the rest of the team to ensure smooth center operations and an excellent customer experience. What do we value? Interest in learning a technical specialty related to the automotive industry. Orderliness, attention to detail, and commitment to safety. Ability to work efficiently, adapt to change, and maintain quality even during peak activity periods. Strong customer interaction skills and ability to communicate clearly. Teamwork, collaboration, and a positive attitude. Valid driver’s license. Prior experience in automotive, mechanical, body & paint, windshield installation, or similar roles will be viewed favorably—but is not mandatory. What do we offer?
