We are seeking a **Psychologist** committed to person-centered care and passionate about working at our residence located in **Sant Quirze del Vallès**. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team and play a key role in supporting the emotional, cognitive, and relational well-being of residents and their families. #### **Care for Residents** * Conduct psychological assessments in emotional, cognitive, and psychopathological domains. * Develop diagnoses and specialized evaluations. * Design and implement individual and group therapeutic interventions. * Monitor processes of cognitive decline, behavioral disturbances, psychopathological disorders, and grief situations. * Promote preventive actions and initiatives to foster emotional well-being. * Identify specific needs and coordinate referrals to external resources when necessary, ensuring continuity of care. * Collaborate in resolving conflicts and complex situations alongside other professionals. * Ensure confidentiality, privacy, and respect for cultural diversity and each resident’s personal values. #### **Family Support and Accompaniment** * Provide psychological guidance and psychoeducational counseling to family members and significant others. * Carry out targeted interventions in cases of emotional or relational distress. * Support families through grief, loss, and end-of-life processes. * Facilitate individual or group emotional support spaces. #### **Interdisciplinary Team Work** * Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and activities. * Collaborate in developing, monitoring, and reviewing the Individual Interdisciplinary Care Plan (PIAI). * Provide guidance and psychological intervention strategies to various center professionals. * Advise the team on cognitive and behavioral characteristics of normal and pathological aging. * Deliver training sessions for care staff to enhance quality of care. * Participate in center improvement, research, innovation, and development projects. #### **What Do We Expect From You?** We seek a candidate with a vocation for caregiving, sensitivity toward elderly care, and the ability to contribute value to an interdisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing residents’ quality of life. * **Bachelor’s or Licentiate Degree in Psychology.** Additional training and/or experience in geriatric psychology, neuropsychology, or gerontology will be especially valued. * **Previous experience in elderly care**, preferably in residential facilities, sociosanitary centers, or other care resources. * **Excellent listening, empathy, and communication skills**, both with residents and their families. * **Ability to work collaboratively** and coordinate effectively with professionals from diverse disciplines. * Commitment to **person-centered care**, respecting autonomy, dignity, and each individual’s life project. * **Initiative, responsibility, and organizational capacity** to manage complex situations professionally and sensitively. * Interest in continuous improvement, professional development, and innovation in geriatric care. * **High-level Catalan and Spanish**, both spoken and written. ##### ***We Especially Value*** * Experience intervening with individuals experiencing cognitive decline, dementia, and behavioral disturbances. * Knowledge of grief support, end-of-life accompaniment, and family support. * Experience facilitating therapeutic groups and emotional support activities. * Ability to deliver training and counseling to care teams. #### **What Do We Offer?** * Start date: September / October * Indefinite full-time contract * Working hours: Monday to Friday Not familiar with us yet?
