We are seeking a **BIM Technician** to join our team on the **Operational Center Project for the New Camp de Tarragona \- Vila\-seca Tramway**. This is a strategic, comprehensive railway project. The project includes the construction of a 6,300 m² industrial complex (workshops, offices, and auxiliary buildings), site urbanization, a track yard (five workshop tracks and four storage tracks), 750 V overhead catenary system, and highly complex installations. You will actively participate in BIM management and coordination during the construction execution phase, integrating various disciplines including building construction, civil works, railway superstructure, and installations. If you have experience applying BIM methodology to railway infrastructure or industrial building projects, we want to meet you! **Your responsibilities:** -------------------------- * 3D modeling of the operational center infrastructure, including buildings, workshop sheds, track yards, catenary systems, and highly complex installations. * Coordination of BIM models across different specialties (civil works, industrial buildings, CSA, MEP, track superstructure, and electrification), ensuring model federation and detection and resolution of interferences (clash detection). * Technical documentation management and linking of drawings, construction details, and specifications within the Common Data Environment (CDE). * Version control and change management: continuous model updates according to design or construction modifications (as\-built), ensuring traceability. * Preparation of reports, quantity takeoffs derived from the model, visualizations, and BIM documentation for the construction team and project management. **Requirements:** --------------- * **Education:** Specialized training in BIM methodology, accredited Master’s degree, or technical qualification (Engineering, Architecture, Technical Architecture). * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience as a BIM Technician on civil works, industrial building, or railway infrastructure projects. * **Technical knowledge:** Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks. Experience working with Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). Valuable experience or knowledge of GIS, Presto, Excel, MS Project, Primavera P6, and/or Power BI.
