We work to deliver the best solutions to our clients across these three areas in the 10 countries where we operate. **THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE** Within **Specialized Solutions**, we are seeking an **Advisor** based at Santander’s **Central Services** in Spain, located on Calle Luca de Tena. As an **Advisor** within the **Active Advisory Securities** service, your mission will be to drive client advisory services under Spain’s Private Banking model for clients requiring this new, highly specialized and sophisticated active service. The service primarily targets clients in the High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals segments — affluent clients who require a highly sophisticated and personalized service level. It covers advisory services across all asset classes (Fixed Income, Equities, Structured Notes, ETFs, etc.), managed by a sophisticated markets specialist, with market execution delivered accordingly to meet the demanding expectations of these segments. This is a market where our competitors in Spain already offer similar services, as do other international banks with whom we compete — representing both an opportunity cost and a risk of losing clients, especially the most sophisticated and profitable ones. The objective is to achieve substantial revenue over the coming years. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: * Providing comprehensive, ongoing client advisory services grounded in deep market/technical expertise and existing opportunities, maintaining direct client relationships. Building and sustaining strong client relationships, and executing client orders across various asset classes in the market. * Identifying clients’ needs and objectives, and assessing their current and future investment actions. * Developing tailored solutions to address those needs, strengthening investment strategies. * Understanding products and services designed by product specialists and third-party providers. * Understanding, engaging with, and coordinating cross-functionally across different areas of the Bank. * Generating investment opportunities in coordination with product specialists and other Bank areas or third-party providers. The following requirements represent the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for success in this role. **Professional Experience** * Minimum 10 years’ experience in client and financial markets management within Private Banking or Markets. **Education** * University degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) * Financial education and additional certifications (e.g., EFA, CFA, stock exchange and markets qualifications, CAI, etc.) are highly valued. * Solid financial and investment product knowledge. * Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. * Advanced proficiency in tools such as Bloomberg. **Languages** * English (Mandatory) **WE VALUE YOUR IMPACT** **Your contribution matters**, and it is recognized.
