We are a specialty café seeking an enthusiastic **Barista and Waiter/Waitress**, detail-oriented and passionate about the culture of fine coffee, to join our team. If you enjoy paying attention to details and making customers feel at home, this is the place for you. **Your responsibilities:** * **Coffee preparation:** Extracting perfect espressos, properly texturing milk, and brewing filter coffee (V60, Aeropress, etc.) while maintaining our quality standards. * **Customer service:** Greeting customers, taking orders, and serving at tables with a friendly, approachable, and professional attitude. * **Consultation:** Explaining to customers the different origins of our coffee, tasting notes, and brewing methods. * **Food service:** Preparing and serving our selection of pastries and light food menu (toasts, sandwiches, etc.). * **Maintenance:** Ensuring impeccable order, cleanliness, and organization of the bar, equipment, and dining area. * **Administration:** Basic cash register (POS) operation and customer billing. **What we’re looking for (Requirements):** * **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year working as a barista is recommended, preferably within the specialty coffee sector. * **Technical skills:** Knowledge of recipe calibration (extraction ratios) and basic-to-intermediate *latte art* proficiency. * **Attitude:** Proactive profile, customer-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team—especially during peak hours. * **Passion:** Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development in the world of coffee. * **Languages:** Spanish and/or English **What we offer at Valour?** * **Terms:** [Part-time / Full-time] contract with [fixed shifts / weekends off, etc.]. * **Salary:** Competitive remuneration according to collective agreement [\+ tips pool]. * **Growth:** Ongoing specialty coffee training and regular cuppings. * **Environment:** A healthy, dynamic, youthful, and respectful workplace where your opinion matters.
