You will join Kumo Networks’ Cloud Virtualization team—a cloud services IT provider belonging to the El Corte Inglés Group. You will play a key role in administering, evolving, and optimizing virtualization platforms supporting critical services for public- and private-sector clients—directly contributing to cloud environments’ availability, performance, and scalability. You will participate in deploying new solutions, automating processes, and resolving complex incidents—working with market-leading technologies and collaborating with highly specialized teams. If you enjoy designing and managing virtualized infrastructures, tackling technological challenges, and wish to continue growing professionally within an innovative and technically demanding environment, this project is tailor-made for you. **Key responsibilities and requirements.** * Design and implementation of virtualization infrastructure using VMware technologies such as VMware vSphere, VMware NSX, and VMware vSAN. * Management and maintenance of VMware vSphere environments, ensuring their availability, performance, and security. * Optimization of compute, storage, and network resource usage across VMware environments to ensure efficient utilization and optimal performance. * Diagnosis and resolution of issues related to the VMware infrastructure, as well as provision of technical support to users and operations teams during incidents or service disruptions. * Development of automation scripts and workflows to simplify repetitive tasks and facilitate operations in VMware environments, using tools such as VMware vRealize. **Minimum requirements.** * Minimum qualification: Higher Technical Degree in Computer Systems and Networks Administration or equivalent. * Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a systems administrator managing virtualization environments. * VMware Certified Professional – VCP\-DCV / VCP\-NV. * Advanced-level vSphere expertise, including ability to resolve complex issues. * Proficiency in ESXi and Shell command-line interfaces. * Intermediate spoken English proficiency. **Desirable requirements.** * University degree: Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent; Master’s studies specialized in systems, cloud computing, or similar. * High-level English proficiency. Certifications: \- VMware Certified Advanced Professional \- VCAP\-DCV / VCAP\-NV (Deploy or Design). * VMware vSAN Specialist / VMware HCI Specialist. * VMware Cloud Provider Specialist. Knowledge areas: * VMware NSX\-V / NSX\-T. * VMware Cloud Director. * Storage (Block Storage, NFS, CIFS, Object Storage).
