Position Summary: We are seeking a BIM Building Technician for building modeling and construction monitoring in Barcelona, ensuring multidisciplinary coordination and compliance with standards. Continuous training and professional development within a multidisciplinary team. **Description:** We seek to hire a BIM Building Technician for our Barcelona office. The selected candidate will be responsible for BIM-based modeling and monitoring of assigned construction projects, with a primary focus on building projects. Work will be conducted in coordination with the BIM Department and project teams to ensure accurate digital representation, multidisciplinary coordination, and adherence to deadlines and established standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * BIM modeling of building projects (from design through construction phases), ensuring model quality and consistency. * Coordination and clash detection between disciplines using BIM tools. * Management and control of information within the Common Data Environment (CDE) and application of project-specific BIM protocols. * Generation of BIM deliverables: drawings, views, scheduling tables, quantity take-offs, and reports as required by the project. * Construction monitoring and updating of the BIM model according to construction progress and technical team requirements. * Technical support to project teams and assistance in implementing BIM standards and workflows. * Participation in internal coordination meetings and client meetings, maintaining smooth communication across disciplines. **Requirements:** * Technical degree in Architecture, Building Engineering, Technical Architecture, or related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM modeling applied to building projects. * Proficiency in BIM software: Revit (mandatory) and/or others (Archicad, Navisworks, Solibri, or similar). * Knowledge of BIM coordination, clash detection, and management of federated models. * Experience with quantity take-off and information extraction tools (IFC, schedules, tables). * Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols (BEP, EIR, CDE) and applicable building regulations. * Ability to work collaboratively, strong organizational skills, autonomy, and quality orientation. * Residence in Barcelona or availability for on-site incorporation at the Barcelona office. * Prior experience with construction management tools and on-site project execution for BIM model monitoring is desirable. **Preferred Qualifications:** * BIM certifications or specialized BIM training. * Previous experience in residential, commercial, or renovation building projects. * Knowledge of engineering/calculation software integrated with BIM. * Languages: technical English (valued). **Offer:** * Direct contract with the client company (duration aligned with project scope or indefinite, depending on profile and needs). * Competitive remuneration based on experience and demonstrated capabilities. * Continuous training and opportunities for professional development within the BIM Department. * Integration into a multidisciplinary team working on diverse projects across design and construction phases. * On-site working hours at the Barcelona office; occasional mobility may be required depending on projects.
