Active participation in healthy leisure programs and skill development Country Spain Province Madrid - Madrid Application Deadline 30/06/2026 Category Direct Care, Cooperation / Emergency / Humanitarian Aid **Information about the NGO** Barró Association **Objective** ------------ **JOB DESCRIPTION** Permanent contract for a social educator (25 hours per week) to intervene with children, adolescents, and their families in socioeducational activities (educational reinforcement, healthy leisure, personal skills, social skills) within the Childhood Project of Puente de Vallecas. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Planning, facilitation, and evaluation of educational reinforcement activities for children and adolescents participating in Barró Association’s project in Puente de Vallecas. * Reference educator for groups of children and adolescents involved in the project. * Development of individual educational plans for children, girls, and adolescents participating in the project. * Joint planning, design, and facilitation of sociocommunity activities. * Coordination with other professionals comprising the team. * Coordination and network-based collaboration with social agents and/or reference professionals connected to project participants. * Design, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of workshops on emotional education, conflict resolution, gender equality, and prevention of violent behavior. * Coordination with educational centers and follow-up of participants in the Association’s Childhood and Family Project in Puente de Vallecas. * Active participation in healthy leisure programs and promotion of social and personal skills, especially during summer camps and residential camps. **Profile:** **REQUIREMENTS** **IMMEDIATE START** University degree in Social Education and/or equivalent. Dynamic, proactive, empathetic attitude with strong organizational, communication, and conflict management skills. Demonstrable experience of at least one year in socioeducational intervention with adolescents. Knowledge and experience in academic support for children and adolescents. Gender equality training is desirable. Driver's license B1 is desirable. **CONDITIONS** 25-hour weekly schedule* from Monday to Friday, occasionally including weekends. * (Full-time schedule during summer camps and residential camps from 22/06 to 15/08) Permanent contract under the Collective Agreement for Social Action and Intervention, Professional Group 02.
