Context:
We are seeking a *Safety / RAMS Engineer* to join our team on railway sector projects. We are looking for a technically skilled, analytical, and detail-oriented professional with experience or knowledge of *Independent Safety Assessment*, *RAMS*, and safety assurance for railway systems.
The position targets professionals who can participate in projects across various disciplines—including *power supply, infrastructure, rolling stock, and CMS*—supporting activities such as analysis, technical review, documentary evaluation, and tracking of safety requirements.
Missions/Main Duties :
**Key Responsibilities**
* Participate in *Safety* and *RAMS*-related activities on railway projects.
* Support *Independent Safety Assessment (ISA / AsBo / independent review, as applicable)* processes.
* Review and analyse technical and safety documentation.
* Track compliance with requirements, regulations, and evidence related to railway safety.
* Participate in the preparation and review of reports, matrices, risk analyses, and RAMS documentation.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor technical aspects related to functional and system safety.
* Support identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks.
* Collaborate in validation, assurance, and documentary verification processes.
Profile/Skills :
**Required Profile**
* Completed engineering degree in fields such as *Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Telecommunications*, or related disciplines.
* Experience in *Safety*, *RAMS*, or safety assessment activities on railway, transportation, power, or infrastructure projects.
* Knowledge of *Independent Safety Assessment* processes and/or RAMS methodologies.
* Ability to interpret technical documentation, regulations, and risk matrices.
* Analytical, methodical profile oriented towards documentary and regulatory compliance.
* Strong communication skills and experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams.
* Technical English proficiency desirable.
**Particularly Valued**
* Experience in any of the following disciplines: *power supply, infrastructure, rolling stock, or CMS*.
* Familiarity with railway sector standards and safety-related regulations and standards.
* Participation in independent reviews, technical audits, compliance assessments, or safety assurance activities.
* Experience preparing or reviewing *hazard logs*, risk analyses, safety cases, or equivalent documentation.
