Active presence on construction sites and at the manufacturing plant **Job Description** We are looking for a person to serve as the **Occupational Health and Safety (HSS) Manager**, with active presence both at headquarters offices and at the manufacturing plant and construction sites in Spain and France. The selected candidate will play a key role in implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the company’s preventive culture. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** Primary responsibility is to ensure worker safety and health during the manufacturing, transportation, and installation of metal structures for photovoltaic plants, guaranteeing compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, internal company standards, and customer requirements—through constant presence on-site and at the manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Ensuring correct implementation of the Site Health and Safety Plan. * Developing Health and Safety Plans and Risk Assessments. * Identifying hazards and assessing associated risks related to: * Working at height * Assembly of metal structures * Lifting and handling loads * Use of machinery and tools * Welding and cutting * Manual handling of loads * Verifying order, cleanliness, and safe working conditions. * Conducting periodic safety inspections on site. * Monitoring appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and collective protective measures. * Proposing, implementing, and monitoring preventive and corrective actions. * Delivering safety toolbox talks to internal staff and subcontractors. * Conducting induction meetings for internal staff and subcontracted personnel. * Coordinating with site managers / Project Managers, subcontractors, Health and Safety Coordinators, and SPS (Sécurité et Protection de la Santé) in France. * Requesting, reviewing, and monitoring preventive documentation from internal staff and subcontractors, including: Risk Assessments / Health and Safety Plans / PPSPS / Work Permits. * Controlling access, authorizations, and documentation of personnel on site. * Investigating accidents, preparing reports, and participating in root cause analysis and improvement proposals. * Monitoring basic safety indicators (incidents, observations, preventive actions). * Supporting quality and environmental functions on site and at the manufacturing plant. **CONDITIONS** * Permanent contract * Immediate start * Full-time position * Continuous training * Salary: Not disclosed; determined based on candidate’s qualifications **Requirements** a. Education * **Minimum:** Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention or Higher Technical Degree in Professional Risk Prevention. * **Preferred:** Technical Architecture or Civil Engineering degree. * – In-depth knowledge of French occupational risk prevention regulations b. Experience * **Minimum:** 3 years in a similar role, with demonstrable experience in the sector. * **Preferred:** Experience in photovoltaics, metal structures, and renewable energy. c. Languages * **Minimum:** * 1. Native Spanish proficiency * 2. French B2 level * **Preferred:** * 1. French C1 level * 2. English B2 level d. Skills * **Minimum:** * 1. Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite * 2. Advanced AutoCAD skills (desirable) e.
