Job Summary: Operates machinery and oversees the production process within an assigned area, ensuring compliance with standards for the transformation of by-products and waste. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervision and control of the production process in various plant areas 2. Management of raw materials and finished products in industrial environments 3. The position’s objectives are to operate machinery and oversee the production process in the assigned plant area, ensuring operations comply with standards set by the Production Manager and/or technical team. \- Raw Materials Area Responsibilities · Inspect incoming truckloads of material to detect possible anomalies. · If applicable, collect samples from dead bovines upon arrival. · Supervise unloading of raw materials into the hopper and their subsequent processing or transfer. · Record and document operations performed, as required, in the application. \- Transformation Area Responsibilities · Monitor the production process from the control room, verifying all critical points—from raw material intake to finished product output. · Log equipment failures or incidents occurring during production. · Communicate incidents occurring during production to other shift or department teams, as required. \- Meal (Flour) Area Responsibilities · Control the grinding and sterilization process of the resulting meal. · Record information related to incidents, control parameters, stock levels, etc. · Perform meal transfers between different silos. · Collect samples as required by the Quality Department. · Carry out loading and unloading of the finished product. \- Water Treatment, Air Treatment, and Steam Generation Area Responsibilities: · Operate and monitor external water intake (flow rates, softener control, tank levels, etc.). · Operate and monitor proper functioning of the plant’s steam-generating boilers (fuel feeding, optimal water levels, steam pressure checks, chemical dosing, gas emissions, etc.). · Operate and monitor proper functioning of the plant’s regenerative thermal oxidizer for odor treatment. What Are We Looking For? · We seek a candidate with prior experience in industrial environments or strong willingness to learn the production process.
