WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At Rheinmetall Expal Munitions, we are seeking a professional to join our Process Engineering department.
**Responsibilities:**
* Process improvement based on inputs generated by the industrialization engineer, applicable to already implemented processes. Improvements in process efficiency, workstation layout, sequence of process operations, automation of operations, etc.
* Resolution of process-related incidents. Coordination with other departments to identify root causes and establish action plans.
* Monitoring operational efficiency. Analysis of deviations and definition of corrective actions to achieve defined efficiency targets.
* Collaboration with factory departments—such as Quality (MMPP and final inspections), Manufacturing (machine configuration, adjustments, etc.), Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety (PRL), Production, etc.—to support project execution. The candidate must possess cross-departmental knowledge and collaboration capabilities throughout the product or project lifecycle.
* Design/modification of tooling used in various processes associated with manufactured products; definition and monitoring of press tooling inventory.
* Continuous maintenance and updating of manufacturing standards: work instructions, POPs, and VSMs.
**Location: Albacete, Spain.**
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s or Licentiate degree in Industrial Technical Engineering, Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or equivalent studies.
* Advanced English proficiency (B2\)
* Microsoft Office suite, 2D design software, basic knowledge of Microsoft Project, design tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
* Valid driver’s license
* Willingness to travel
* Desirable: Experience in a similar role, basic Occupational Health and Safety (PRL) training, design tools expertise, statistical analysis skills, Lean Manufacturing knowledge, and Machine Learning familiarity
