**Paper Machine Operator**
This position is based in a factory where the primary objective is to ensure uninterrupted and maximally efficient operation of production lines. The core responsibility involves monitoring and operating specialized machinery, particularly in paper winding and rewinding processes, maintaining a consistent work pace that meets established quality standards. The candidate must correctly feed the machines, monitor operational parameters, and promptly identify any issues arising during the process.
Key responsibilities include performing quality checks directly at the workstation, inspecting finished products for potential defects related to grammage, finish, or integrity. This helps prevent losses and ensures materials meet customer requirements. Strict adherence to safety and hygiene regulations is essential, including proper use of personal protective equipment and application of environmental measures in all tasks. Work is conducted collaboratively, with fluent communication and a proactive attitude to resolve incidents and sustain productivity. Additionally, the role includes participation in preventive maintenance and equipment cleaning activities to avoid unexpected stoppages.
The contract is temporary, with possible extension depending on production needs. The salary is competitive and commensurate with the position and experience. Working hours follow a rotating shift schedule, which may include a fifth shift. The company provides specific training on processes and machinery.
Prior verifiable experience in industrial or manufacturing production environments is required, preferably in sectors related to material processing. A Medium or Higher Vocational Training qualification in a technical or industrial field is mandatory. Experience in rotating shifts and familiarity with forklift operation will be considered advantageous. The ideal candidate is responsible, organized, and demonstrates proven ability to work effectively as part of a team under pressure.
