The professional in this position will be responsible for adjusting and preparing external diameter grinding machines. These machines are essential for the precise finishing of mechanical components, and their correct setup is fundamental to ensuring the quality of the final product. Dimensional verification of ground parts constitutes a central part of the responsibilities, ensuring that each component complies with technical specifications and tolerances defined in engineering drawings. This verification is performed using a variety of precision measuring tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators. Additionally, the operator will carry out detailed self-inspection records, documenting processes, measurements, and any relevant observations to maintain traceability and facilitate quality control. This meticulous record-keeping is vital for identifying trends, preventing deviations, and contributing to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. The work is carried out in an industrial environment requiring attention to detail, procedural discipline, and commitment to established safety standards. The role involves constant interaction with machine tools and interpretation of technical documentation, serving as a key link in the production chain of high-precision mechanical components. This position offers remuneration based on an hourly wage. Working hours are organized in the afternoon shift. The workplace has an accessible and well-connected location. Industrial safety and hygiene measures applicable to the sector will be implemented. Solid knowledge of technical drawing interpretation and use of dimensional verification tools is required. Formal training is mandatory, preferably a Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle in Machining or a Higher-Level Vocational Training Cycle in Mechanical Manufacturing. A minimum of one year of practical experience operating grinding machines—particularly numerically controlled grinding machines—is required.
