Responsible for performing complementary healthcare services in assigned areas, applying established action protocols and corporate guidelines to ensure high-quality patient care.
What will be your responsibilities?
* Accompany patients from their arrival at the clinic, assisting them during their stay, monitoring their general condition and any changes since their last dialysis session, and supporting the transfer of dependent patients.
* Provide all necessary patient care in accordance with corporate protocols.
* Support the nursing team in administering prescribed medications and in carrying out dialysis treatment as per the defined prescription, current procedures, and operational guidelines, ensuring appropriate patient service.
* Implement medical prescriptions related to proper nutrition, hydration, FAVI self-care, and patient hygiene.
* Report any abnormalities detected in patients and/or in the dialysis monitor or disposable materials used for treatment.
* Monitor and record patient temperature and weight at the beginning and end of dialysis.
* Inspect and prepare dialysis monitors and other materials prior to hemodialysis, following internal instructions and protocols, and verifying each patient’s medical prescription.
* Disinfect dialysis monitors externally and internally according to current protocols and maintain corresponding records.
* Prepare meals for patients and assist in placing food orders.
* Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of rooms, sofas, shelves, etc., at the end of each dialysis shift, whenever necessary.
* Ensure cleaning of treatment carts and all materials contained therein.
* When required and following appropriate instructions, verify stock levels across various rooms and proceed with restocking.
* Collaborate as needed with the Clinic’s Resources Manager on maintenance tasks, facility inspections, water plant and equipment management, warehouse operations, and environmental matters.
* Support a safety culture by adhering to Occupational Risk Prevention directives (e.g., observing safety measures, using personal protective equipment, etc.)
