We seek professionals passionate about the industry and with a strong attention to detail to join our team. **Job Mission:** We are seeking a **Hotel Maintenance Manager** with at least 3 years of experience to ensure the optimal condition of our hotel’s facilities and equipment, guaranteeing a safe, comfortable, and functional environment for our guests and staff. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Supervision and Execution:** Coordinate, supervise, and actively participate in preventive and corrective maintenance tasks across all hotel areas (guest rooms, common areas, kitchens, swimming pools, gardens, etc.). * **Equipment Management:** Ensure proper operation and maintenance of all hotel equipment and facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, elevators, kitchen machinery, etc. * **Planning and Budgeting:** Develop annual and seasonal maintenance plans, managing the allocated budget for materials, tools, and external services. * **Supplier Management:** Select and manage external suppliers and contractors for specialized repairs or improvement projects, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines. * **Safety and Compliance:** Ensure compliance with applicable safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations in all maintenance operations. * **Incident Management:** Efficiently and promptly address and resolve incidents and malfunctions arising in the hotel. * **Inventory Control:** Maintain an up-to-date inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials required by the maintenance department. * **Staff Training and Supervision:** Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance technicians team under your responsibility, promoting a positive and productive work environment. * **Periodic Inspections:** Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential issues and propose solutions. * **Interdepartmental Collaboration:** Maintain smooth and collaborative communication with other hotel departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, etc.) to ensure coordination and guest satisfaction. REQUIREMENTS **Job Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of proven experience in similar roles, preferably within the hotel industry. * **Technical Knowledge:** Solid knowledge in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, carpentry, and other trades related to building and facility maintenance. * **Management Skills:** Ability to plan, organize, and supervise teams and projects. * **Problem Solving:** Skill in diagnosing and resolving malfunctions quickly and effectively. * **Regulatory Knowledge:** Familiarity with occupational safety and health regulations. * **Communication Skills:** Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with staff and suppliers. * **Customer Orientation:** Commitment to service quality and guest satisfaction. * **Languages:** Knowledge of additional languages will be valued. * **Education:** Vocational Training (FP) in Maintenance, Electricity, Plumbing, or related fields. University education in technical disciplines will be considered an advantage. * **Availability:** Flexibility to work variable shifts and respond to emergencies outside regular hours if required.
