Position Mission The selected candidate will join the multidisciplinary team of the Early Intervention and Comprehensive Support Service, carrying out assessment, intervention, and follow-up activities targeting children with developmental disorders, intellectual disabilities, and other specific support needs—fostering communication, language development, and participation within their natural environments. Main Responsibilities * Assessment and intervention for communication, language, speech, and feeding difficulties. * Development of language and communication stimulation programs tailored to each child’s needs. * Preparation of intervention plans, follow-up procedures, and progress reports. * Conducting individual and group sessions. * Assessment, design, and implementation of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. * Creation and adaptation of specific communication materials. * Intervention in natural environments and coordination with educational centers. * Coordination and follow-up with families and other professionals involved in the intervention. * Participation in team meetings and case reviews. * Diploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy. * Minimum one year of experience in Early Intervention. * Experience in language and communication stimulation programs. * Experience intervening with individuals with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders. * Experience using and implementing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. * Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams. * Positive and constructive attitude. * High capacity for independent work, proactivity, and autonomy. * Social sensitivity and interest in social causes—particularly disability. Additional qualifications valued: * Additional training in Early Intervention. * Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). * Experience conducting assessments using standardized tests. * Training and experience in orofacial myofunctional therapy. * Experience managing atypical swallowing and feeding difficulties. * Specialization or training in Therapeutic Pedagogy. * Experience in family-centered practice and intervention in natural environments.
