Country Spain Province San Juan de Alicante \- Alicante Application Deadline 30/09/2026 Category Direct Care **Information about the NGO** Alicante Association of People with Cerebral Palsy **Rating** (0 reviews) **info** Response rate: 33.80% **info** **Objective** ------------ * Position Title Speech Therapist * Organization Alicante Association of People with Cerebral Palsy (APCA) * Department Day Center * Specific Responsibilities * Prevent, correct, assess, diagnose, and intervene in language and/or communication difficulties across all dimensions (form, content, and use), both receptive and expressive. * Assess and intervene in communication disorders: language, speech, voice, and hearing. * Develop, train, and generalize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems for individuals with communication limitations. * Manage and advise on technical aids for communication, adapted to users' needs. * Assess the potential implementation of augmentative or alternative communication systems according to individual needs. * Enable and rehabilitate feeding in situations where it is impaired. * Assess, evaluate, diagnose, and treat swallowing disorders. * Examine orofacial functions and orofacial mobility: strength, range, speed, precision, motor stability, tone, and masticatory/swallowing patterns. * Conduct myofunctional therapy using active and passive exercises to improve mobility, tone, power, and muscular strength of involved organs. * Determine appropriate food texture and liquid consistency for ingestion. * Assist and/or supervise meals for users with dysphagia. * Coordinate with nursing staff and other professionals regarding diets, care, treatment follow-up, and feeding safety. * Job Requirements * Required Education Formal education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Speech Therapy Recommended: AAC systems * Experience Proven experience in a similar position. * Competencies Professionalism, ethics, and strong commitment to the organization; communication skills; planning and organizational ability; proactivity; responsibility; confidentiality; ability to work autonomously; teamwork capability; interpersonal relationship skills; empathy; ability to motivate and support individuals served; promotion of communication and mutual respect; positivity; ability to respond effectively to emergencies; motivation; flexibility and adaptability to change; effective time management Job Conditions * Contract Type Temporary * Working Hours Part-time * Schedule 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday * Start Date July 13, 2026 \- December 31, 2026 * Remuneration €1,341.72 gross per month, paid in 14 installments **Profile:** * Required Education Formal education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Speech Therapy Recommended: AAC systems * Experience Proven experience in a similar position. **Competencies:** Problem analysis and resolution, initiative and autonomy, capacity for learning, organization and planning, technical and personal reliability, interpersonal communication, teamwork **Level:** Employee **Contract Type:** Part-time **Duration:** 6 months to 1 year **Salary:** Between €18,001 and €24,000 gross/year **Minimum Education:** Bachelor's degree **Minimum Experience:** At least 1 year **Start Date:** 06/07/2026 **Number of Vacancies:** 1
