We are seeking a lathe operator or milling machine operator for a stable position at a mechanical workshop in Avilés, specializing in large-size parts and sheet metal fabrication. Main responsibilities include machining custom parts and industrial components using large lathes and milling machines, as well as machining centers. Candidates must be able to operate and program equipment with Heidenhain and Fagor controls, and set up Hitachi lathes using Fanuc ISO programming. Maintenance and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and components are also performed, both for new construction and for repair work. The ability to interpret industrial drawings with tight dimensional tolerances is essential, ensuring high-precision finishes. Work takes place in a dynamic environment offering autonomy and use of overhead cranes for handling heavy parts. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 15:15, with regular overtime opportunities.
