Position Summary: We are seeking an International Hydrology Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and manage railway projects, conduct hydrological and hydraulic studies, and coordinate with international teams. For new projects in the Railway sector, we require an **INTERNATIONAL HYDROLOGY PROJECT ENGINEER in Madrid**, reporting to the Project Director. Key responsibilities include: **Responsibilities** * Comprehensive planning, coordination, and monitoring of international engineering projects. * Management of project scope, schedule, costs, risks, and resources. * Preparation of quality plans, Inspection Point Programs, etc. * Development of hydrological and hydraulic studies for infrastructure projects, water resources, drainage, and risk management. * Preparation and review of technical reports, documents, drawings, and project documentation. * Analysis of flood events, flood susceptibility, urban drainage, and integrated water management. * Technical coordination with international teams, clients, consulting firms, and public agencies. * Technical supervision of projects during design, construction, and operation phases. * Participation in international tenders and preparation of technical proposals. * Schedule management, quality control, and milestone tracking. * Support for technical visits, fieldwork, and international meetings as required. **Requirements**: * Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals and Ports), Hydraulic Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent. * Specialization or demonstrable experience in hydrology and hydraulics. * Prior experience in international engineering or consulting projects. * Advanced proficiency in GIS tools and hydrological/hydraulic modeling software. * High level of English (minimum B2/C1\). Other languages are valued. * Minimum 2\-3 years of project management experience is mandatory.
