Job Summary: Grupo Mimara is seeking an assistant to collaborate in the care and well-being of elderly residents, supporting the interdisciplinary team in various caregiving and leisure tasks. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive support in the daily care and well-being of residents. 2. Collaboration in preventive, occupational, and leisure activities. 3. Promotion of communication and social interaction among users. Grupo Mimara is an assisted living and residential center for older adults. We are looking for you to help us care for our residents. This is a 20-hour-per-week position; schedule to be agreed upon. Permanent contract. The responsibilities include the following: Support the interdisciplinary team in the reception and onboarding of new residents, collaborating in the adaptation of individualized care plans. Carry out interventions scheduled by the interdisciplinary team aimed at meeting residents’ activities of daily living. Collaborate in the planning, organization, and implementation of preventive, occupational, and leisure activities. Maintain residents’ personal hygiene. Clean the first-aid kit and its contents, as well as other health- or care-related materials. Provide and administer food to residents, facilitating intake where required. Perform repositioning and other auxiliary services assigned according to technical training. Assist residents in preparation for transfer, providing accompaniment, supervision, and support. Collaborate with healthcare staff in medication administration. Under nursing supervision, assist in the care of residents with colostomies and catheters, as well as in feeding via syringe. Support and stimulate residents’ communication to enhance their daily functioning and social interaction. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate residents’ families into center life. Report any incidents affecting residents’ health. Observe and record in the incident log any detected behavioral and/or physical changes. Candidates must hold the required qualification or certification and/or possess the necessary experience for performing these duties, in accordance with current regulations.
