The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is an interfaculty department affiliated with the Faculty of Pharmacy and Nutrition. We are seeking a person to join as Galenic Development Technician at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Nutrition, specifically within the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Fernando Martínez Galán. The selected candidate will join the project titled "Development of a biotechnological therapy based on enzybiotics to combat nosocomial infections (Enzineto V)". This project aims to investigate a novel therapeutic approach using enzybiotics targeting the pathogen A. baumannii, which causes one of the most common hospital-acquired infections—ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP)—by developing two complementary administration strategies: intravenous and intranasal. The selected candidate will actively participate in selecting formulation components according to applicable regulations, as well as in defining manufacturing procedures for the drug prototype. Additionally, they will contribute to drafting standard formulas and standard methods, carry out applicable experimental procedures, evaluate obtained results, and ultimately prepare the final report for the galenic development section. We are seeking a graduate in Pharmacy or equivalent with experience in drug formulation. Additionally, the candidate must have knowledge of applied chemistry and experience in writing technical reports. Good command of technical English.
