Currently, for our CIAN Alcalá center, we are seeking a Cook to perform the following duties: o Prepare daily meals required for service users (breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, as applicable) o Clean and maintain the kitchen area, cold room, pantry, refrigeration and freezing chambers, etc. o Prepare weekly grocery shopping lists based on portioning requirements specified in technical preparation sheets. o Prepare shopping lists for kitchen cleaning supplies o Monitor and control APPCC protocols and procedures, including completion of all related records. o Place orders and control and record their receipt o Supervise suppliers regarding all kitchen-related needs o Collect and store daily food samples o Measure and record temperatures of prepared meals o Measure and record temperatures of refrigeration and freezing chambers o Plate food for daily meals and control portion sizes according to dish technical sheets. o Collaborate and participate in internal and external training activities proposed by or for the center. Requirements: Intermediate Vocational Training in Cooking and Gastronomy and/or Basic Vocational Training in Cooking and Restaurant Services and/or prior experience in a similar position.
