FUNCTIONS * Participation in the ARCORES International Communications Team. This team—comprising communications leads from each country in the network—must carry out tasks assigned under the ARCORES International Strategic Plan through annual Action Plans. * Development of ARCORES Spain’s communications, following ARCORES International guidelines, and taking responsibility for leading ARCORES’ communications in Spain to meet the goals established in the ARCORES Spain Strategic Plan. Includes building and activating a network of liaison officers across regional and local delegations. TASKS * Management of social media and digital platforms. Propose and implement concrete actions for development and resource mobilization via social media (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp Business, etc.) and online digital channels. * Production of institutional communication materials, as well as those for ARCORES’ initiatives and campaigns. Includes information gathering, content writing, design, editing, and distribution. Also includes contacting individuals interested in participating in any of ARCORES’ proposed initiatives. * Design of materials and resources for technical teams or delegations. Based on their specific demands and needs, produce static materials, email signatures, digital content (videos, presentations, etc.), or ARCORES and initiative communication dossiers, among other deliverables. * Media relations and organization of media events. Edit and develop web content, perform web programming, and publish content. * Periodic preparation and distribution of communications to members and collaborators (e.g., newsletters, emergency alerts, etc.). * Engagement with ARCORES’ membership base: disseminating information or addressing any needs; reviewing content published by members in their own media to ensure alignment. **Profile:** REQUIRED PROFILE ARCORES seeks a candidate who combines expertise in communications with skills and experience as a Social Media Manager, Community Manager, and Digital Communications Manager. A proactive, creative individual accustomed to teamwork, as well as autonomous in task organization and meeting deadlines. At least two years of professional experience in communications, preferably within social action and/or international development cooperation organizations. Alignment with ARCORES’ guiding principles and values. High motivation and familiarity with social challenges and the Sustainable Development Goals. Academic training in communications. Proficiency in standard communications methodologies and tools: social media; video; photography; presentations; communications and web development (e.g., WordPress); and graphic design and visual communication platforms (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and other AI-powered tools). Skill in organizing, scheduling, and conducting interviews, press conferences, and press releases related to the organization’s programs, projects, and activities. Experience and knowledge in applying Artificial Intelligence tools to communications. English language proficiency (C1 level or higher). ADDITIONAL ASSETS University degree, preferably in communications. Master’s degree in Development Cooperation; Humanitarian Action; or Communications Applied to the Third Sector. Field experience. Familiarity with Development Cooperation and/or Social Action sectors in Spain. **Strong commitment to social causes:** volunteer experience. Portuguese language knowledge. Residence in Madrid.
