A company specializing in integrated water cycle management is seeking motivated students to join its team through an **extracurricular internship.** The intern will apply knowledge related to hydraulic engineering, water supply and sanitation networks, construction materials, surveying, construction project management, and quality control. Additionally, the intern will practice competencies in blueprint interpretation, quantity take-offs and cost estimation, construction planning, technical and safety regulations, as well as administrative procedures related to permits and licenses. **What will you learn during this internship?** * Construction monitoring and control: supervision of progress on renovation, repair, or expansion projects for water and sanitation networks. * Preparation of quantity take-offs and certifications: calculation of completed work quantities and preparation of contractor certifications. * Quality control of materials: verification of compliance with technical specifications for pipes, valves, manholes, and other materials. * Review of construction projects: analysis of blueprints, technical reports, and budgets for hydraulic infrastructure. * Coordination with contractors: technical communication to resolve queries and coordinate execution of works. * Inspection of trenches and excavations: verification of dimensions and safety conditions during pipe installation. * Schedule and budget control: tracking of timelines and cost monitoring. * Permit and license management: processing of municipal authorizations, traffic closures, and public road occupancy permits. * Preparation of construction reports: drafting of daily logs, incident reports, and meeting minutes. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates who have completed at least 50% of the credits required for the Civil Engineering degree. * Official Master’s or UA Proprietary Degree: Formal enrollment in an official master’s program or proprietary degree program at the University of Alicante, in a field of study aligned with the required bachelor’s degree. **Additional Information** **What can we offer you?** * The opportunity to become part of a leading multinational company in the sector. * Flexibility. * Professional growth.
