We are currently recruiting a Financial Controller for our Seville office, reporting directly to the Controlling Manager and joining a multidisciplinary team as the company’s financial reference point, delivering accurate financial and operational information to drive strategic decisions. **Job Description** **What will your responsibilities be?** **Monthly Financial Closing** * Active participation in the monthly closing process. * Validation of revenue from activities and projects. * Work-in-Progress (WIP) management: Tracking and analysis of WIP by project; assessment of financial and operational risks; monitoring of WIP’s financial impact; ensuring proper accounting recording. Proposing corrective actions to mitigate risks. * Analytical tracking, cost allocation to projects, report validation, identification and correction of inconsistencies. * Project profitability analysis: Identifying causes of variances (e.g., cost overruns, delays), proposing solutions and action plans to improve margins. **Reporting and Consolidation** * Preparation of reports using Power BI, Excel, and internal tools, presenting financial data clearly and visually. * Group and headquarters reporting: Consolidating and submitting financial/operational information, ensuring compliance with group deadlines and standards. **Ultimate Objective:** * Ensuring the **accuracy and usefulness** of financial information to support strategic and operational decision-making. * Close collaboration with commercial, operational, and accounting teams to ensure project **profitability and efficiency**. **Requirements** **What are we looking for?** * **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or equivalent. * **Experience:** 3\-5 years in controlling, accounting, or data analysis (experience in technical sectors such as engineering, consulting, or industry is a plus). * **Technical Skills:** + Advanced Excel (pivot tables, etc.). + ERP systems and reporting tools (Power BI). + Knowledge of accounting/finance: monthly closings, P\&L, margins, budgeting. * **Key Competencies:** + **Analytical thinking:** Ability to transform data into actionable *insights*. + **Teamwork:** Close collaboration with the local Controlling Manager (your direct supervisor) and the Controlling team in France. + **Adaptability:** Ability to thrive in evolving environments (e.g., implementation of new financial models). + **Clear communication:** Ability to explain financial concepts to non-experts (e.g., commercial teams). * **Languages:** + **Spanish:** Native or bilingual. + **English:** B2\-C1 level (frequent meetings with international teams). **Additional Information** **What do we offer?** International work environment and professional growth Temporary Contract: 6 months ️ 22 vacation days Rest days to recharge Flexible intensive working hours: 7:00 \- 15:00 Private health insurance ATEXIS is an equal opportunity employer.
