DESCRIPTION We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Threat Hunting Specialist. This role will play a key part in proactively identifying threats and protecting assets. Responsibilities: * Conduct proactive investigations to detect and analyze threats through continuous monitoring of network and system events. * Collaborate closely with security teams to enhance threat detection, incident response, and risk mitigation. * Develop and maintain threat hunting rules and tactics to improve detection capabilities. * Analyze indicators of compromise (IoCs), tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and behavioral patterns to identify emerging threats. * Assess the organization's security posture and recommend improvements based on threat intelligence. * Basic knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, Threat Intelligence, and Incident Response. REQUIREMENTS Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications. * Solid experience in cybersecurity, with emphasis on threat hunting. * Advanced knowledge of networks, cloud environments, and operating systems. * Technical skills including programming in Python, C/C++ and use of SIEM/XDR/EDR tools. * Knowledge of malware, attack tactics, and evasion techniques. * The following certifications will be positively considered: OSCP, CEH, GCFA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer. * Demonstrable experience with EDR systems such as Cortex, CrowdStrike, Microsoft ATP, SentinelOne, among others. Additional Skills: * Analytical thinking and ability to connect seemingly unrelated data points. * Excellent communication skills to effectively report findings to relevant teams. * Proactive attitude, curiosity, and ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment.
