Due to increased activity, we are looking for a **Methods and Continuous Improvement Engineer**, based in **Parets del Vallès, Barcelona**. As part of the **Process Engineering Team**, you will be responsible for: * Analyzing, optimizing and improving the performance of Personalization and Smart Lines processes, ensuring compliance with defined industrial KPIs (OPE, OEE, Yield, MTBF, MTTR, Availability). * Conducting methods, time and efficiency studies, identifying losses, bottlenecks and opportunities for process and equipment optimization. * Providing ongoing technical support to Production, Personalization and Smart Lines for operational performance stabilization and improvement. * Working closely with the Kaizen operator, Engineering, Maintenance and Coordinator teams to implement continuous improvement actions. * Executing and implementing preventive maintenance and process improvement plans, ensuring positive impact on equipment availability and efficiency. * Analyzing production and equipment performance data to identify deviations and propose corrective and preventive actions. * Providing technical support for process standardization, definition of best operational practices and documentation of methods. * Accompanying and verifying the correct execution of implemented improvements, ensuring sustainability of results. * Actively participating in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives focused on productivity improvement, reduction of downtime and optimization of resource utilization. * Collaborating with Engineering, Production and Projects teams to ensure new methods or process changes are efficient and robust from implementation onward. **Experience, Knowledge and Skills** * University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, Automation or similar). * Experience in methods engineering, continuous improvement or process engineering in industrial environments. * Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially automated or highly complex lines. * Experience working with industrial KPIs such as OPE, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, Yield and Availability. * Analytical capability to work with production and equipment performance data. * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools. * Ability to execute improvements in a structured, results-oriented manner. * Strong technical communication and cross-functional teamwork skills. * Analytical, methodical, organized profile with a focus on operational efficiency. **Desirable:** * Specific experience in Personalization, Smart Lines or automated processes. * Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (PDCA, Kaizen, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, VSM). * Experience collaborating with Maintenance teams and analyzing equipment reliability. * Basic knowledge of data capture systems, MES or industrial dashboards. * Experience managing or participating in OEE/OPE improvement programs. * Ability to work in industrial environments with high demands for efficiency and availability. * Experience participating in operational cost optimization projects. **What We Offer?** * Flexible compensation (meal vouchers and social benefits such as childcare, training, etc.) * Life insurance * Partially subsidized health insurance * Various work-life balance services * Savings club * Join a global leader in cybersecurity and digital identity. * Dynamic industrial environment with a strong culture of safety and sustainability. * Professional development opportunities within Thales.
