We are seeking a **Change Manager Lead Cybersecurity Program** **to work with our global client in Valencia, Spain.**\- This position requires onsite presence at the client’s facilities. **Department:** Information Technology **Location:** Valencia, Spain **Working Hours:** U.S. Eastern Time (9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET) **Commitment Duration:** Minimum 24 months **Role Description** The Cybersecurity Program Change Manager plays a critical role in driving awareness, understanding, and adoption of cybersecurity policies, tools, processes, and behaviors across the organization. This position supports a multi-year cybersecurity transformation initiative and is responsible for planning and executing structured change management activities to ensure successful integration of cybersecurity initiatives into various business units. The role focuses on stakeholder management, communications, training, and adoption measurement—with the objective of strengthening the organization’s security culture and promoting sustainable behavioral change. The Change Manager will work closely with leaders across cybersecurity domains, IT partners, and business stakeholders to assess people impacts, manage adoption risks, and continuously improve change outcomes. **Key Responsibilities** **Change Strategy and Execution** Plan and execute change management activities in support of cybersecurity initiatives, including: * Alignment with leadership and sponsors * Planning and execution of communications * Stakeholder management and readiness assessment * Support for learning and development initiatives * Reinforcement and sustainability activities * Measurement of change success Manage one or more concurrent change initiatives within the cybersecurity program. **Stakeholder Management and Communications** * Support stakeholder management and engagement activities across cybersecurity domains * Collaborate with cybersecurity leaders, business units, and IT teams to identify change management needs * Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, accessible messages for non-technical audiences **Measurement, Risk, and Continuous Improvement** * Define and track change management success metrics linked to adoption, user behavior, and program objectives * Monitor progress and identify adoption risks or resistance * Collect and analyze feedback from managers and employees impacted by cybersecurity changes * Provide insights and recommendations to improve change effectiveness and program outcomes **Security Culture and Awareness** * Contribute to cybersecurity awareness initiatives and security culture strengthening * Support behavioral change campaigns reinforcing long-term adoption of secure practices **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, or related field * 8+ years of experience in change management, preferably in: + Cybersecurity programs + Technology transformations + Risk or regulatory compliance initiatives * Proven experience leading change initiatives in cross-functional environments * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities * Excellent oral and written communication skills in English * Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time while based in Spain **Desired Qualifications and Certifications** * Change Management certification (Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent) * Experience supporting cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance programs * Knowledge of security awareness practices, behavioral change, and security culture * Experience using Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including Microsoft Copilot **Key Competencies** * Structured execution of change management * Communication and stakeholder engagement * Identification and mitigation of risks * Metrics-based adoption tracking * Ability to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences * Comfort working in large, complex, and highly regulated environments PTYTECH is an IT staffing firm working to simplify the connection between innovative companies and reliable tech talent.
