**Automation Engineering** * *Location: Riells i Viabrea* * *Job type: Permanent* **Main Responsibilities** * Develop and execute the site's automation master plan * Develop and maintain the site's automation systems/equipment/spare parts plan. * Design and implement automation solutions (SCADA, DCS, PLCs) * Lead IoT initiatives and integrate smart devices * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations * Optimize production processes through automation * Collaborate with IT for seamless OT and IT system integration * Participate in global initiatives when requested * Responsible for understanding current global design guidelines and their application * Prioritize automation projects * Process improvement initiatives through automation * Compliance strategies for automated systems * OT/IT convergence strategies and implementations **Mindset:** An empowered individual with autonomy to thoughtfully take risks and assume personal responsibility for outcomes and impact generated.
