Location: **MADRID** (on-site/hybrid, depending on the project) Role Mission Responsible for the **installation, configuration, and deployment of IBM API Connect both in VMware environments (classic/VM-based)** and **in Kubernetes (on CP4I)**, ensuring high availability, security, observability, and best practices for enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities * **Deployment on VMware:** * + - I**nstallation and configuration of API Connect (v10\.x)** in All-in-One or distributed topologies (Mgmt, Gateway, Analytics, Portal). - Configuration of SSL/TLS, domains, oAuth/OIDC, LDAP/AD, SAML, and Rate Limits/Policies. - Integration with **IBM DataPower as API Gateway** (configuration, signatures, certificates, KMS/HSM keys if applicable). - Configuration of backup/restore and DR plan. * Installation of **CP4I & deployment of API Connect on Kubernetes:** * + Installation of **IBM Cloud Pak for Integration on OpenShift (**or compatible K8s), including OPMs/Operators, StorageClass, Ingress/Routes, certificates, and SecurityContextConstraints. + **Deployment of API Connect** as a capability in CP4I: Management, Gateway, Portal, and Analytics. + Definition of **HA and scaling (HPA)**, monitoring (Grafana/Prometheus/LogDNA/ELK), and alerting. + **Automation** using Helm/Operators, declarative YAMLs, and GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux). * **API Lifecycle Management:** * + - Design and publication of APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger), creation of Products and Plans, versioning, developer portal, and subscriptions. - Security and governance policies (throttling, JWT, mTLS, CORS, transformations, DataPower policies). - Integration with backends (REST/SOAP), events, and messaging (Kafka/Event Streams, MQ). Mandatory * **Practical experience (2–5 years) in IBM API Connect v10\.x:** installation, configuration, and operation**.** * **Experience with DataPower Gateway** (basic/advanced configuration, certificates, signatures, crypto). * **Experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift:** namespaces, storage, ingress/route, secrets, RBAC, Operators. * Installation and operation of **CP4I (Cloud Pak for Integration) and deployment of API Connect** as a capability. * Knowledge of **security:** TLS/mTLS, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, LDAP/AD, SAML. * Proficiency in **OpenAPI/Swagger, CI/CD, Git/GitOps, and Helm.** * **Scripting** (bash) and YAML handling.
