Quality control and occupational risk prevention JOB DESCRIPTION ### **Job Description** The client, a company with a long-standing tradition in the metal fabrication industry, located near Girona, is looking for a **Workshop Manager** with experience in **metal fabrication** to lead, organize, and supervise workshop activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and safety regulations. Main Responsibilities **1\. Team Supervision** Lead, organize, and supervise daily activities of workshop personnel, allocate workloads, and maintain constant coordination with the technical department. **2\. Project Planning and Monitoring** Plan and coordinate the execution of metal fabrication projects, ensuring compliance with delivery deadlines, budgeted costs, and established technical requirements. **3\. Quality Control** Ensure the quality of products manufactured in the workshop by implementing and supervising quality control and assurance procedures across all production phases. **4\. Safety and Prevention** Guarantee compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, both in equipment handling and workshop working processes. **5\. Resource Management** Optimize the use of workshop resources — materials, machinery, and personnel — based on efficiency, profitability, and productivity criteria. **6\. Incident Resolution** Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and operational incidents arising during project execution, minimizing impact on production. Required Profile * **Technical Knowledge** Proven experience in metal fabrication manufacturing processes: welding, rolling, bending, cutting, and metal forming. * **Leadership** Ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate work teams, fostering a professional, collaborative, and results-oriented environment. * **Project Management** Ability to plan, organize, and execute projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and optimizing resources. * **Communication** Strong verbal communication and coordination skills with internal teams and other departments. * **Problem Solving** Ability to make quick and effective decisions when facing unexpected events or production incidents. * **Regulations and Quality** Knowledge of applicable safety and quality regulations and standards in the metal fabrication industry.
