Description
The position involves supporting the winding and finishing processes of products in an industrial environment. Key responsibilities include assisting with the preparation, packaging, labeling, and inspection of manufactured coils, ensuring that the entire process complies with quality and safety standards. Coils are tracked from their final production stage through to dispatch, guaranteeing that finished products are properly prepared for distribution. A high level of attention to detail is required, along with strict adherence to workplace organization and cleanliness standards to support operational efficiency.
Specific responsibilities include preparing coils for shipment—such as packaging, weighing, and applying identification labels—as well as performing splices and installing protective caps. Accurate control and recording of completed units are also required. Another important function is promptly reporting any issues identified during the process and actively participating in proposals for continuous improvement. Occasionally, operating a forklift may be necessary to handle and position materials, always following established safety protocols.
The work environment is dynamic, and teamwork, responsibility, and proactivity are highly valued. We seek an organized individual who can adapt readily and contribute to maintaining an orderly and efficient workflow. This position offers the opportunity to acquire and apply knowledge within a specific industrial process, as part of a team dedicated to product manufacturing and preparation. Initial hiring is through a temporary employment agency, and on-the-job training, a positive working atmosphere, and opportunities for professional development and continuity are provided.
Previous experience in industrial environments or in similar roles is required. Vocational training at the Intermediate Level (CFGM) or Initial Vocational Training (FPI) in fields such as Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, or related disciplines is considered advantageous. Fluency in Spanish is required. A valid forklift operator’s license is regarded as a plus. Attributes such as responsibility, proactivity, organization, and teamwork ability are highly valued.
