Job Summary: We are seeking a technician for the assembly and maintenance of equipment on vessels, with skills in blueprint interpretation, problem solving, and attention to detail. Key Highlights: 1. Assembly and installation of systems on vessels (plumbing, air conditioning, windows) 2. Assistance in engine and component assembly 3. Appreciation of initiative, organization, responsibility, and teamwork A person is required to assemble equipment on vessels, responsible for installing various systems. These tasks include plumbing, air conditioning systems, windows, hatches, and other auxiliary equipment. Proficiency in using both hand and power tools is necessary. Support will also be provided in assembling engines and their components, ensuring proper integration. The ability to understand blueprints and schematics is essential to ensure all components are installed according to specifications. Verifying that equipment functions correctly after installation is a critical part of the job. Quality and safety standards must be strictly followed at all times. Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals—such as carpenters or electricians—are highly valued. Candidates are expected to demonstrate initiative in resolving issues, strong organizational skills, and high levels of responsibility. Prior experience in the naval sector is considered an advantage but is not mandatory. Good manual dexterity and coordination are required to perform the work. Adaptability to periods of high workload to meet project deadlines is also important. A minimum qualification of a Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle is required.
