Development in long-term industrial projects Through engineering firm P&PD (ATS Global), we are selecting an Engineer with proven experience as Site Manager – Assembly Director for a long-term industrial project in France, focused on the assembly of steel plants and industrial furnaces, within an engineering company headquartered in Bilbao. This is an excellent opportunity for senior professionals seeking development on large-scale projects, involving on-site presence, construction management, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams. Main responsibilities include: * Leading and supervising all on-site assembly activities. * Managing in-house and subcontractor work teams, coordinating resources, milestones, and priorities. * Ensuring compliance with schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations. * Monitoring construction progress, reporting issues, and proposing technical solutions. * Guaranteeing accurate interpretation of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. * Maintaining daily communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. * Ensuring proper planning and logistics of on-site work. * Demonstrable experience in assembling steel plants or large-scale industrial plants. * Senior profile with knowledge of industrial furnaces and hands-on technical field experience. * Ability to simultaneously manage construction and personnel. * Fluent English (project working language); French is an asset due to location. * Willingness to reside in France for the duration of the project. * Expatriate contract: Assignment to an industrial project lasting approximately 3 years, with realistic prospects for continuation. * Accommodation, company vehicle, and per diems covered. * Career growth and subsequent reassignments to new projects or offices.
