Position Summary: We are seeking a Shift Supervisor for Welding in the Automotive Sector to oversee production line operations, coordinate tasks, configure equipment, and correct deviations. Equipment Configuration and Early Fault Detection In Sant Esteve Sesrovires, we are looking for a person to fill the position of Shift Supervisor in the welding area within the automotive sector. Main responsibilities include monitoring the start-up of production batches and overall line operation, as well as coordinating welding and assembly tasks. The role also entails mechanical and parameter configuration of equipment, verifying cost, timeline, and quality requirements. Proactive anticipation and early fault detection are essential, along with correcting cycle time deviations and performing destructive testing, gauge inspections, and weld bead assessments. Additional duties include sending parts to DEA and macro polishing, reviewing reports, adjusting robots and welding parameters, replacing consumables, and correcting defective parts. A full-time contract of 40 hours per week is offered, with rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday, operating from 06:00 to 22:00, including legally mandated breaks. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position. * We seek an active and versatile candidate. * Residence near the workplace is an advantage. Fluency in both Spanish and Catalan, both spoken and written.
