Production Operator

Description

Perform tasks related to banana handling, selection, packaging, and preparation, ensuring compliance with the company's established standards for quality, hygiene, safety, and productivity. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Receiving and unloading bananas from producers. * Selecting and classifying bananas according to size, quality, and ripeness stage. * Washing, detaching banana clusters, and handling the product. * Packaging, labeling, and boxing in accordance with company standards. * Preparing orders for dispatch. * Basic operation of warehouse machinery and tools. * Maintaining order and cleanliness at the workstation. * Complying with occupational safety, food hygiene, and traceability regulations. * Reporting incidents or anomalies concerning the product or process. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** * Prior experience in horticultural warehouses (desirable). * Ability to perform physical and repetitive work. * Capacity to work collaboratively and under production pace pressure. * Responsibility, punctuality, and attention to detail. * Availability for rotating shifts and variable working hours. **PERSONAL COMPETENCIES** * Proactive and positive attitude. * Commitment to quality and safety. * Adaptability. * Good organizational skills and efficiency in task execution. **WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS** * Work in a warehouse environment. * Exposure to varying temperatures. * Manual handling of loads.
