Observability Engineer, Hybrid

Observability Engineer We are looking for an Observability Engineer to join a technology team where you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and improving monitoring, observability, and automation solutions. What will be your mission? Design and drive the organization's observability strategy, providing visibility into infrastructure, applications, and services to ensure their availability, performance, and reliability. What will you do on a day-to-day basis? Design and implement observability solutions for infrastructure and applications. Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and indicators using Prometheus and Grafana. Administer and evolve log platforms using Elastic Stack (ELK). Configure and optimize monitoring systems with Azure Monitor and Microsoft SCOM. Define alerting strategies to reduce operational noise and improve early incident detection. Analyze platform performance and participate in resolving complex incidents. Automate tasks using Python and PowerShell. Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform. Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, and Development teams to improve service reliability. Document procedures and share knowledge with the team. Requirements Experience with monitoring and observability platforms. Solid knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic Stack (ELK). Experience with Azure Monitor and/or Microsoft SCOM. Automation using Python and/or PowerShell. Experience with Terraform. Knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows. Experience in cloud environments (Azure, with AWS or GCP being a plus). Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Linux and Windows system administration. Experience in troubleshooting, performance analysis, and capacity planning. Preferred Qualifications Experience defining KPIs, SLIs, and SLOs. Knowledge of OpenTelemetry or other observability solutions.
