If you possess solid training in industrial maintenance and a proactive mindset for problem-solving, this is your opportunity! **About the position:** We are currently hiring for the role of **Second Assistant Officer Technician**. This role is essential for ensuring the operationality and efficiency of industrial machinery and facilities, playing a key part in minimizing downtime and optimizing production processes. **Your main responsibilities will include:** * **Comprehensive Maintenance:** Performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on all industrial machinery and facilities, ensuring optimal operating condition and anticipating potential failures. * **Assembly and Disassembly:** Assembling and disassembling equipment, as well as complete production lines, following technical and safety specifications. * **Incident Resolution:** Providing immediate and effective resolution of any incidents arising on production lines, minimizing impact on production. * **Equipment Verification:** Thoroughly verifying correct machinery operation, performing necessary adjustments and calibrations. * **Continuous Improvement:** Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the analysis of breakdowns and technical incidents to implement durable solutions and prevent recurrence. * **Collaboration with Production:** Coordinating closely with the production department to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime. **What we seek in you:** * **Experience:** Minimum of 2–3 years of demonstrable experience in industrial maintenance. * **Education:** Vocational Training (FP) qualification at Medium or Higher Level in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related fields. * **Technical Skills:** Solid theoretical knowledge and practical skills in diagnosing and repairing faults in industrial machinery. * **Work Capability:** Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a collaborative and results-oriented attitude. * **Proactivity:** Initiative to identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions. * **Flexibility:** Adaptability to different tasks and working environments. **Highly desirable:** * Prior experience in the **food industry**. * Additional knowledge in industrial automation.
