At **Tenerife Shipyards**, we are looking for an experienced **Maintenance Manager** to lead the maintenance department at our shipyard. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of facilities, machinery, and equipment, guaranteeing operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and facilities. * Manage the maintenance technical team. * Monitor the department’s budget and optimize resources. * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and environmental regulations. * Coordinate with other departments to minimize operational downtime. * Supervise external suppliers and subcontracted services. * Implement continuous improvements in processes and equipment. **Requirements:** * Technical education (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or related field). * Minimum 3\-5 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in the naval, industrial or shipyard sector. * Knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems. * Leadership and team management capabilities. * Organizational and problem-solving skills. * Familiarity with industrial safety regulations.
