DESCRIPTION At **Lago Resort Menorca**, we are looking to hire a **Maintenance Assistant** to support in the tasks of **conservation, repair, and inspection** of thermal installations, hospitality machinery, and general facilities in our hotels, restaurants, and service buildings. The position requires **direct collaboration with the maintenance supervisor**, following preventive plans and addressing corrective incidents. * **Main Responsibilities** * Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of: * Boilers, accumulators, pumps, and climate control systems (cooling and heating). * Hospitality machinery: industrial dishwashers, ovens, fryers, refrigerated chambers, display cases, and auxiliary equipment. * Basic electrical installations, plumbing, and sanitation. * Pressure equipment, pumping units, and ventilation systems. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks under supervision. * Support in regulatory inspections and technical records. * Monitor basic inventory of materials and tools. * Comply with occupational safety and environmental regulations. REQUIREMENTS **Minimum Education:** * Medium or Higher Vocational Training in Thermal and Fluid Installations, Electricity, Electromechanical Maintenance, or similar. **Desirable:** * RITE Certification * Fluorinated Gases Handling Certificate * Occupational Risk Prevention training **Required Knowledge:** * Plumbing and hydraulic circuits * Basic electricity and reading of electrical diagrams * Air conditioning (air conditioning units, heat pumps, boilers) * Industrial refrigeration and refrigerated chambers * Industrial kitchen and laundry machinery * Soft soldering, threading, and minor mechanical repairs * Use of manual and electric tools * General building maintenance
