We are seeking a candidate for the position of **Lifeguard**, responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and customers in beach and pool areas, guaranteeing compliance with usage regulations and providing close, professional assistance at all times. The person in this role will adopt a service-oriented and preventive approach, contributing to a safe and enjoyable experience for those using the facilities. Their primary objective will be to ensure the safety of aquatic areas, as well as to support the proper daily preparation and operational maintenance of beaches and pools. **What would your responsibilities be?** ***Surveillance and Safety*** * Monitor beach and pool areas to ensure guest and customer safety. * Respond quickly and effectively to emergency or hazardous situations. * Ensure compliance with facility usage regulations. * Administer first aid when necessary, following established protocols. * Report potential incidents or situations requiring intervention. ***Customer Service*** * Provide professional, approachable, and service-oriented assistance. * Address inquiries related to facility usage. * Attend to guest and customer requests within the scope of responsibility. * Contribute to a positive and safe experience in beach and pool areas. * Maintain a proactive and courteous attitude at all times. ***Area Preparation and Maintenance*** * Prepare beach and pool areas for daily opening. * Perform cleanup and closing tasks at the end of each shift. * Distribute and collect towels, umbrellas, and other service materials. * Monitor the general condition of furniture and equipment in assigned areas. * Report maintenance needs or material replenishment requirements. ***Operational Support*** * Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations. * Support spatial and resource organization according to operational needs. * Maintain order and a positive visual impression in beach and pool areas. * Adhere to internal safety and service procedures. * Contribute to maintaining the property’s quality standards. **What do we require from you?** ***Qualifications*** * Valid official Lifeguard certification. * First aid and basic life support training is desirable. ***Experience*** * Prior experience as a lifeguard in hotels, resorts, beaches, pools, or similar facilities. * Experience in high-traffic public environments is desirable. ***Languages*** * Advanced Spanish and English. * Additional languages are desirable. ***Key Competencies*** * Responsibility and ability to respond promptly. * Customer orientation. * Attention to detail. * Teamwork. * Proactivity and incident resolution. * Ability to work outdoors and in dynamic environments. ***Technical Knowledge*** * Aquatic rescue techniques and first aid. * Safety regulations applicable to beaches and pools. * Basic use of rescue equipment. * Valid Class B driving license. * Availability for full-time work and rotating shifts according to operational needs.
