Description
We are seeking an experienced kitchen assistant to join the team at our senior residence. The selected candidate will support the chef in preparing daily menus and be responsible for maintaining hygiene and organizational standards, ensuring high-quality service and a warm, human-centered approach toward our residents.
**Main responsibilities:**
* **Support in preparation** and production of daily menus and specific diets (pureed meals, allergen-free, diabetic, etc.) under the supervision of the chef.
* **Cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance** of order in kitchen facilities, utensils, and equipment.
* **Receiving, storing, and organizing** raw materials and goods (stock control and product rotation).
* **Plating and distribution** of portions according to established guidelines.
* Strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience as a kitchen assistant, preferably in collective catering settings (senior residences, schools, hospitals) or organized foodservice.
* Valid **Food Handler’s Certificate** (mandatory).
* Basic knowledge of handling and preparing modified textures or specific diets.
* Ability to work effectively in a team, dynamism, and a collaborative attitude.
