**Internal Auditor / Operational Risk and Control Specialist** **Job Profile** We are seeking a professional with strong orientation toward operational control and physical asset supervision, capable of combining analytical rigor with day-to-day management skills. The position requires a meticulous individual with independent judgment and discretion, serving as the primary reference point for security matters, corporate asset custody, and compliance with internal procedures. **Job Objective** To ensure physical supervision, asset control, and operational auditing of the organization’s security processes, guaranteeing that corporate resources — from technological equipment to facilities — are managed with traceability, order, and adherence to established internal policies. **Key Responsibilities** * **Access Control and Corporate Inventory Management:** Rigorously supervise, control, and safeguard materials assigned to employees, including IT equipment, mobile devices, access cards, office keys, and the corporate vehicle fleet. This task involves maintaining an up-to-date and reliable record of each asset, periodically verifying its condition and location, and identifying any anomalies or discrepancies in the inventory that could pose a risk to the organization. * **Management of Asset Disposals and Returns:** Formally and documentarily coordinate the receipt of corporate assets upon termination of employment relationships, preparing corresponding return certificates. This process requires smooth communication with Human Resources and outgoing employees, ensuring each return is properly formalized, signed, and archived for future reference or audits. * **Physical Security of Facilities:** Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of the corporate headquarters’ security systems, including alarms, locks and smart keys, as well as video surveillance cameras. This function includes supervising external maintenance providers, verifying proper equipment functionality, and proposing improvements to physical security protocols when weaknesses are identified. * **Operational Risk Analysis:** Proactively investigate potential internal security gaps, unauthorized access, or any type of operational irregularity detected during routine activities. This responsibility includes evidence collection, root-cause analysis, and preparation of clear, well-founded reports enabling management to make informed decisions and implement necessary corrective measures.
