Job Summary: We are seeking a home care assistant to support personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and domestic tasks, while providing companionship and health monitoring. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordination with professionals and family members We are looking for personnel to fill the position of home care assistant in Fornes, Granada. Duties include assisting with personal hygiene and grooming, helping with dressing and undressing, and supporting mobility within the home—such as getting up, going to bed, or performing transfers. Monitoring of nutrition and hydration is also required. In the domestic sphere, responsibilities encompass basic cleaning, laundry, ironing, clothing organization, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and management of essential supplies. Additionally, the role involves providing companionship and conversation to prevent social isolation, accompanying the user to medical appointments, walks, or errands. Regarding healthcare, the assistant reminds the user to take medications, observes their general condition, and reports any incidents to family members or professionals. Activities are documented, and coordination is maintained with social workers, healthcare staff, and family members, adhering to established protocols. Empathy, communication skills, responsibility, discretion, patience, observational ability, organizational skills, and autonomy are highly valued, along with basic knowledge in sociosanitary care. This is a temporary employment contract, estimated to last 30 days, on a full-time basis. Working hours are from 07:30 to 14:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and on Wednesdays from 07:30 to 14:30 plus an additional shift from 17:00 to 18:00\. The monthly salary is 1444 euros.
