Job Summary: We are seeking a forklift operator for a paper manufacturing company in La Garrotxa, responsible for unloading, storing, and preparing paper rolls, supporting machine operators, and palletizing materials. Temporary full-time contract with rotating shifts A paper manufacturing company in La Garrotxa seeks to hire a forklift operator. Duties include unloading trucks carrying fragile and heavy paper and cardboard rolls, and storing them in the warehouse. Rolls are also prepared for machine feeding according to handling sequence; trucks are loaded with cut paper and cardboard pallets; and support is provided to the slitter machine operator during production. Other responsibilities include feeding rolls into the machine, verifying absence of incidents during production, and palletizing materials through heading, strapping, labeling, and shrink-wrapping tasks. Finished products are collected on pallets, transported, and positioned using electric pallet jacks and counterbalanced forklifts; cages are handled to empty their contents into containers; and paper and cardboard are cut using a guillotine. All tasks must comply with quality, environmental, occupational health and safety standards, along with other duties inherent to the position. A temporary full-time contract is offered, with 40 weekly working hours from Monday to Friday, on rotating morning and afternoon shifts, including legally mandated breaks. * Forklift experience required. * Basic computer literacy. * We seek a responsible person with a positive attitude. * Proximity of residence to the workplace is an advantage.
