Job Summary: We are looking for a Fishmonger to handle, clean, and cut fish, set up fish displays, and advise customers—ensuring freshness and quality—while also supporting stock management and team coordination. As part of the store team reporting to the Fish Department Manager, your responsibilities will include: * Perform daily receipt of goods (fish), ensuring quality and freshness upon entry. * Handle, clean, and cut fish while maintaining freshness and quality standards. * Set up the fish counter to ensure all varieties are accessible to customers. * Recommend, advise, and inform customers about product features to deliver an excellent shopping experience. * Clean, organize, and supervise fish-handling tools and equipment, as well as maintain facilities (cold rooms and drains). * Collaborate with the Fish Department Manager in supervising tasks and managing the fishmongery team. * Monitor existing stock levels, supporting the Fish Department Manager in conducting inventories and placing orders.
