Position Summary: We are seeking a community educator to design, implement, and evaluate prevention projects for children and adolescents, and to promote their community participation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and evaluation of youth prevention projects. 2. Group facilitation and promotion of community participation. 3. Collaboration with social services and local resources. We seek a community educator to design, implement, and evaluate prevention projects targeting children, girls, and adolescents. Duties include promoting their participation in community life, facilitating groups through educational and leisure activities, and encouraging the involvement of families, educational institutions, and other municipal stakeholders in Oibar. Additionally, youth needs and interests are identified and transformed into intervention proposals, coordinated with social services and local resources. Community and leisure-time activities are organized; technical documentation and grant management reports are prepared; and coordination meetings with various territorial stakeholders are attended. Furthermore, project dissemination is supported, and spaces for interaction and coexistence among children, adolescents, families, and the broader community are fostered. Working hours are flexible and adapted to the position’s requirements, with a full-time temporary contract. **Professional Experience:** 1 to 3 years of experience **Education:** University degree in Social Education (preferred) or related degrees in the socio-educational field (Social Work, Pedagogy, Psychology, or other related disciplines). * Experience in community prevention projects, community development, or civic participation. * Experience working with children, girls, and adolescents. * Experience in educational leisure and free-time activities. * Experience in group facilitation. * Experience coordinating with educational institutions, associations, public administrations, and other community stakeholders. * Knowledge of the rural social and community context. * Basque language proficiency. * Complementary training related to childhood, adolescence, participation, equality, prevention, or community intervention. * Initiative, autonomy, and organizational skills. * Communication skills, teamwork ability, and capacity to build trusting relationships with children, girls, adolescents, families, and community stakeholders.
